Delete 'really'
“Really” is a really useless word.
Don’t say: Our software is really easy to use, allowing you to manage your tasks efficiently.
Say: Our software is easy to use, allowing you to manage your tasks efficiently.
Don’t say: You’ll find our customer support is really responsive and helpful.
Say: You’ll find our customer support is responsive and helpful.
Don’t say: I’m really sorry, but I can’t come to work today. My cat is really sick, and I need to take him to the vet.
Say: I’m sorry, but I can’t come to work today. My cat is sick, and I need to take him to the vet.
Adding ‘really’ increases suspicion to your claim. It makes your copy sound immature.
Removing ‘really’ increases sharpness and authenticity of your copy. More conversions can happen.
Exception: Use ‘really’ only when you really need to playfully exaggerate your point. Otherwise cut it loose. I really mean it!
