Don't use exclamation marks
Because truth doesn't need one.
Exclamation marks won’t strengthen your copy.
They often add hype, not value.
Copywriter Ben Settle advises,
“If your message is strong, you don’t need to shout. A simple period works better."
Instead of conveying excitement, they come across as forced enthusiasm.
Your readers will notice, and it undermines trust.
Instead of: "Boost your profits instantly! This is a game-changing opportunity you can't afford to miss!"
Say: "Boost your profits today. This opportunity can transform your business."
Instead of: "Unlock the potential of your business with our powerful software! It’s guaranteed to take you to the next level!"
Say: "Discover how our software can help your business grow. It’s designed to take you to the next level."
Instead of: "Don't miss out! These exclusive deals won’t last long! Grab yours before it’s too late!"
Say: "These exclusive deals are available for a limited time. Grab yours while they last."
Remember - truth is the ultimate exclamation mark.
